Button Selection – Grey and remove option

I have created multiple “jump to” buttons on one slide. The intent is to have them jump to the appropriate slide, then jump back to the original slide and the button they selected be grey’d out and no longer available to click.

I have created a button for each option and a grey button to go over the original button. The following advanced action and assigned it to the slide, but the grey button doesn’t display.

What am I missing?

It wasn’t about the number of buttons, it was the “jump to” action. I tried the state originally, but the grey wouldn’t stick when the user returned to the original slide.  However, I hadn’t select the “Retain State on Slide Revisit”.

What do you mean? Why would that prevent using states, I don’t get it. You can use the Back action to change to the greyed out state, what has that to do with the number of buttons?

I didn’t use state view because I have 5 buttons going to 5 different slides. CP2019

Why do you not use a state for the button (greyed) and disable it?

Your workflow is an old one, not necessary anymore since the appearance of multistate objects with CP9. I see that you use CP2017 or CP2019.
