Playbar Render Issue in Preview

Hi!

I hope someone can help me with this issue. I am using an edited Theme – MobilePlaybar for my project and it is not rendering correctly when I preview.

I am using Captivate 2019. I am using the html5 preview and scormcloud preview. Same results in both. I have tried Firefox, Chrome, and IE. It doesn’t render correctly in all three. I am using a gradient color for the Background and for the Button Face.

1st image – what it looks like in Captivate  and what I want it to look like.

2nd image – what it looks like in preview.

3rd image – what it looks like if I change the Background and Button Face color to a solid color. Solid color renders correctly but the progress circle is still not white.

Skin is part of the theme. Since you talk about ‘on brand with my company’ I asked if the theme you are using has been created in this version of Captivate or in an older version. Updating a theme can lead to this type of issues.

I posted several blogs about themes. Need to start almost every training, even for intermediate users/developers by explaining how to use a theme in a company environment. Looks bit strange.

The theme is created in this version of Captivate. I’m just using a modified version of one of the default provided themes.

I will check out your blogs. Maybe I saved my changes incorrectly or created and changed a theme in a way that is causing the issue – as you suggested. Thanks!

If you edited the theme in this version, that cannot be the cause of the problems.

Can you check the full version number please? It should be 10.0.1.285.Apparently you are on a responsive project? Due to the limitations of mobile devices, you should try not to mess up with that mobile playbar that much. What is a gradient offering more for learning experience? Was the theme created in this version of is it an upgraded theme?

Thank you for responding, Lieve. I am using Captivate 2019 version 11.01.266. I get the same results with a responsive project and a non-responsive project. I’m not sure what you mean by upgraded theme.
The project needs to be on brand with my company. And these are the colors. And, frankly, the gradient looks better. It is true, I could remove the gradient for the blue to eliminate one issue. But, the progress circle still does not render correctly. If we shouldn’t change the colors or, if the color change does not work properly, why is it even an option?
