Hello,

I’m trying to earn a free Adobe Captivate license by contributing to the community through showcasing my work. The catch is Adobe’s system won’t accept my zipped project and I’m assuming this is because I created it with the free trial and the project is set to expire in 30 days. If that’s the case it seems like this is either an oversight in the incentive program or a pipe dream.

Does anyone have any information on the matter? I tried contacting Adobe but was basically told, “the marketing department handles that”. They did however, attempt to upload a project created from a trial and was unable to do so, affirming my theory that I couldn’t upload a project created from a trial.

Is there anyone who has more info on this or can help me get my first couple of projects published?

Thanks!

My points keep resetting. How did it work out for you?

I’m actually already storing there – best resource ever!   …The problem is that for the showcase option (which is worth 100 points) you have to upload a zipped project. I suppose I could share the URL links under another option such as blog and hope they approve it. Ultimately, I’ve decided to try to earn points through testimonials and blogging until I can get the initial complimentary license, then I can republish the projects I made during the trial and upload.

CheRae – Were you ever able to get the incentive?  It looks like the comment section for your original post has been closed?

Cherae, have you tried storing your work in the cloud then provide a link.I use AWS it’s easy to use and provides short links. Paul Wilson has done a video on this, check it out.

Hope this helps

Chris
