Captivate 2017 – Email Action Automatically Populate Subject Line

I am using an Action ‘Send Email to” on Exit so that the user can email a PDF of the certificate of completion to a safety officer in the company. Is it possible to program the Email so that a subject line is automatically populated?

For instance, when the Email pops up, the subject line says “certificate of completion for safety program”.

Right now the Email subject line and body text is completely blank so the User would have to manually add the subject line and body text.

You probably have issues with the waiting time for moderation? Indeed, whenever you post links in a comment, that comment will have to be moderated and that can take from minutes to days (in the weekend).

My approach is often to answer first without links (which doesn’t need moderation), announce the links to be posted in another answer. Bit cumbersome, but works.

BTW Thanks for your answer, hope the OP gets back with feedback.

Thanks Lieve. I did not know there was moderation… I will follow your approach.

I have a problem posting a reply with my response in it. Maybe because of links or the mailto text? Or maybe because of the email address in my reply?

I will try it like this.

Yes it is possible. Type: ?subject=This%20is%20the%20subject%20text after the email address in the Captivate address field. And/or look for a mailto generator on google. And then only copy the text after the mailto text.
