When a video file in a course is played on mobile, it automatically goes to full screen mode. this is confusing for the users, as they experience this as losing the navigation buttons? Is it possible to avoid the phone browser going to full screen mode?

Hi

I have turned autoplay off. Our client uses iPhone with Safari as default browser. They are not going to force all their 3000+ employees to download and install Chrome. So the question remains; Is there a way to avoid this?

You seem not to understand me. AutoPlay IS turned off automatically for all HTML5 output since the second version of CP2017, not your choice.

How did you cope with the AutoPlay turned off since CP2017, version 10.0.1.285? Do you have a poster image?  Did you try with Chrome? It may be a Safari issue, and Apple is ‘famous’ for building stumbling blocks.

Hi Lieve

I’m talking about Slide videos in Safari on iPhone.

Sorry, should have specified that.

Are you talking about Event video or Slide Video?

Is the ‘mobile’ an iPad or an iPhone or are you also talking about non-Apple devices?
