Captivate 2017 – I have created several CBTs. Some have audio and some don’t. Can I set it up so that the user can Stop the video at any point in the CBT and restart in the same spot or does it always have to start at the beginning?

BTW it is not possible to withdraw a question from the portal. As a moderator I could have done this if it was on the Jive Adobe forums.

I am going to withdraw this question as I’m pretty sure it would be impossible for the program to remember where each User left off if they stopped the file.

It is just an HTML output of the CPTX project – no videos inserted in the project. Some of them are long so if the User has to pause and come back to it, they want to know if it can be completely stopped (rather than paused) and restarted at the same spot at a different time.

The only way to come near your goal, since you are talking about video, is to insert the videos as slide video, distributed over multiple slides in logical chunks. The user will be returned to the start of that slide where he left off.

If you are on CP2019, have a look at the new Interactive video functionality. It may be an alternative, create a bookmark menu that is visible throughout the video, no need to add overlay slides.

Are you talking about a video inserted on a slide or about the output of a cptx project? If it is an inserted video, was it inserted as event video or slide video?
