I use Adobe Captivate 2019. I am using a Macbook Pro with the macOS Mojave system. The eyedropper tool is not working for me. I have tried to select the eyedropper tool and the select the color I want. No dice. I then tried to select the eyedropper tool and drag it to the color I wanted, again nothing. Any suggestions?

I found the same issue. Come on Adobe, sort your act out – the eye dropper is such an easy thing to code!!!

Did you ever check the result of an eyedropper in any application? I rarely use it in Captivate, do so in Illustrator, but hesitate in Photoshop.

Since Captivate is based on Themes, which do have a Theme Color Palette with 10+50 colors, why would you need an eye dropper? Goal of Captivate is consistent eLearning design, no need to have thousands of colors in fills, strokes….

BTW, please log a but report, complaining to other users will not get you anything fixed.

It has always been bit of a trouble, that eyedropper tool. I never use it at all. I set up a custom Theme Color paletter based on the company colors and stylesheet.  Using hexadecmal code or RGB is much more to be trusted when entering exact colors.

Sorry cannot help you, moreover I am a Windows user and as you know the color space is different.

Check the exact version number, should be 11.0.1.266.
