Hi,

I’m working on a project that will likely be viewed on mobile devices. I’ve taken the class on fluid boxes and I thought I knew how to use them, but I think I’ve done something wrong. I’ve attached the file I’m working on.

For desktop, it looks pretty much how I want it. When I go to iPhone 6, I can’t get the images (FPO) to disappear. I’ve set the image to optional and the box to optional. When I manipulate to shrink them, it messes up the desktop layout.

Thanks for your help.

Ideally I want the text to show up in the mobile version and no images. If the text is too long for the screen, I want the learner to be able to scroll.

Problem with Fluid Boxes is that you give partially control to Captivate: it will decide when the optional items have to be taken out. For full control you need to use the (more cumbersome but less limiting) Breakpoints workflow for responsive projects.

From the way your question has been formulated, I suspect you used the editing environment to test the output, just by switching to another device in the dropdown list. That is not the best way for testing, lot of functtionality will only be visibble when Previewing, or even after publishing.  Did you Preview the project in a browser environment?

Scrolling will not be possible if the text is not fitting into the text container, the icon to show the full text will appear.

Sorry, but I don’t download files.

I’ve done the QR code export too and it just isn’t working the way I feel like it should.
