I am afraid not, CP7 is very old and is not listed as being compatible with Win10. You may try, but no guarantee at all.

Thank you very much for your quick response! I live in japan and using CP7 at work,  to make tutorial material. I don’t know if my company will pay for the new version of CP, so I may try CP7 on Windows 10 anyways.  my co-worker also asked adobe the same question, and the answer was like “we are not sure cuz we haven’t tested it.” or something like that. he also recieved a link to some information, so we will check it later and try what we can do.

Thank you again for your help, Ms.Weymeis!

You’re welcome. Do you know about the subscription license? It may be more affordable and you can have each new update as long as the license is paid monthly.

I’m learining about it now.  The way of selling their products had changed while I was having maternity leave, and got a little confused just yesterday, but someone at work had bought the licence of illustrator last year with this new system, so I can get the idea. We are not sure how long more we will need to make this tutorial material, so have to decide which way is the best for us.

Thank you again so much!

The CC applications have only a subscription license since many years. For Captivate and some other Adobe non-CC applications you still can have a perpetual license besides the subscription license. It depends of course on your goal/

it looks like the subscription license fits our needs, thank you for your exact advise! I tried to find the answer and net surfed a lot, but for me adobe web pages are not so easy to understand… I will make a proposal of subscription license to my boss!

Great! Understand that Adobe site can be confusing, they have so many applications and Captivate is one of the ‘small’ apps.
