Captivate 2019 – background color surrounding published module

In the new version, not only is there an odd auto play button which I understand can’t be removed, but when looking at a module, it’s now surrounded by a black background. How do I change it back to white or gray?

You’re talking about the portion around your HTML module, correct? That is in the skin editor (Window> Skin Editor). Next to playback control, select the middle option that says border. Then you can change the HTML Background color.

Reason why I asked for the used theme, because the skin is one of the components of the theme. But that question was not answered….

Background color depends on the theme and the colors you use in the project. Which theme do you use? More specifically it is set in the skin editor, part of the theme.

AutoPlay is disabled for all HTML output since the second version of CP2017, not in the most recent version. There have been many threads about the Play button and how to make the static splash screen more engaging. Will post a link in a separate comment (moderation time).
