I know I must be doing something wrong on a very simple level.
I create a shape, click the box to use it as a button.
I use animated text on the button and a gradient background.
I enter state view and on rollover I change the gradient and change the text.
When I view the project, on rollover the gradient changes but the text vanishes.
Help?
I have just “verified” that it does have something to do with the animated text, though the animated text disappears on rollover I threw in some ordinary static text in the two states and it appeared/changed just fine on rollover as expected.
They should probably mention that limitation somewhere…
I have an active subscription to Adobe Captivate, so it is version 2019 11.0.1.blah blah blah.
By animated text, I mean the animated text feature that appears when you go up to enter “Text” on the toolbar and select “text animation” and add any one of the dozens of effects to it from the dropdown in properties.
That is not the most recent version, which is 11.5.0.476.
Tet animation is NOT supported for HTML5 output. If you use the HTML tracker you would see that. Text animation is SWF-based.
If you want to try with effects, this will only happen once on the normal state not on the other states.
