Hello all,

I am creating a quiz and I wish to direct the student to content in Confluence. I know I can provide a URL to the content – clicking the link opens a new browser tab, but is it possible to show content inline (within the Captivate course frame) or as a pop-up?

Thank you,
Shawn

P.S. After publishing, it seems that this isn’t going to the Adobe community forum. Is this the appropriate place? I’m kind of a newbie (once an old Captivate expert). It’s been several years since I worked with Captivate. LOL

Shawn, it has been a while since I posted a comment. Was it helpful? Maybe you didn’t see it, because notifications have to be turned on, they are not automatic even for the OP (as is the case in the old Jive forums).

Shawn, every post in the eLearning Community has to be moderated. Today I am trying to answer all the questions posted since 48hrs, because moderation didn’t happen yesterday.

This is a big difference with the Jive forums, where a lot of moderators all over the world (I am one of them) are moderating 24/7 and you rarely have to wait longer than one hour to see your question appear. Sorry about that.  I know about this, when posting links in this portal, it is subject to moderation as well.  My blog appearing  on this page was posted 2 days ago….

Quiz slides are tricky, you cannot have all the control you have in normal slides, in this case inserting a web object. You’ll find in this community a series of about 12 posts I created about Quizzes, explaining the default setup (and warning which are often forgotten in training) and possible tweaks.

In your case I would recommend to create a custom quiz slide, to have the possibility to add a web object…. or to navigate out of the quiz slide (which means learner’s answer will be frozen) to another slide.
