Videos within EL bad quality once published

Hi all

Does anyone have any experience of creating slides with videos embedded within their EL content, and when published the embedded videos are poor quality?
When i preview the entire project these slides are fine, and include the option to maximize the screen etc. so they are nice and clear. When I publish the project as SCORM compliant and upload them into the LMS (Astute), these videos are blurry and I lose the option to maximize etc.
Astute have run the EL through SCORMcloud and there are no issues with it.
Do I need to add the videos to my EL project in a different way? Or has anyone else experience anything similar and found a way around this?

Thanks,
Bridget

Adobe Media Encoder is packaged with Captivate, and should be installed on your system.

How did you add the videos, event or synchronized? What was there original resolution?

Use AME to resize the video to exactly the resolution you need in the Captivate project.

Hi Bridget,

I do not think so this issue about platform side. It is looking on the server side issue. I mean, when you are embedding the videos to your eLearning Courses, these videos run on LMS’s server and if this server is not optimized for running videos, it decreases video quality.

I suggest you calling videos from other resources like Youtube or Vimeo. These servers are optimized for running videos and tested for millions of viewers.
