Adobe Captive 9
Is Adobe Captivate still a valid platform to develop new projects?
Short answer: I would never want to go back to CP9, for lots of reasons. Why not have a subscription license? I am on 11.5. You miss responsive projects with Fluid Boxes, VR slides, Interactive video, using SVG (which can be edited in CP) and bitmap images directly as buttons, improved Themes, easy to use Assets Panel etc…
Forgot revamped Advanced Actions panel with some new commands, and Loop conditional actions. Have blogged a lot since release CP2017. Last update to CP2019 was one month ago, still busy writing about the new features. Have a look, most of the blog are also in this community.
This is the shortest and most ‘cryptic question I have seen in this portal. Captivate is an eLearning authoring tool, Captivate Prime is a LMS which is a platform. You develop eLearning courses with Captivate (number 1 tool for that purpose) and upload to a LMS.
Sorry to be so cryptic lol. Expanding on my short questions a little. I was asking about the Captivate 9 elearning platform. First does Adobe still support Captivate 9? Second, if you already own Captivate 9 are the improvements in the latest version so significant that it would be “foolish” not to upgrade?
