I have a project I am working on to help new users learn how to use a clients product.  I want to be able to be able to show them how to do a step both from video as well as short description and allow them to spawn a browser to actually do the step.If they are successful take them to the next step with some of the output needed for it, if not provide them with additional resources to access as well as being able to open a chat with support.

The question is learning how to use a clients product.

They are trying to teach their use how to use the software.

Did you ever use Video Demo?  I also wonder if you know about the limitatinos of Fluid Boxes compared with a non-responsive project?

Hello tsheffie,

Learn how to use a clients product, try a  software simulation.

Goto file –>Record a new –> Software Simulation.

Play around with it and try the simulation several times until the timing and speed is right.

You find the video recording in the same place.

The chat part is not happening, the tutorial will have to be designed to provide and simulate that information.

For example, you could use branching depending on the scenarios.

For a demo the Video Demo will lead to a much better output. I never use software simulation if it is meant as demo, only for training and assessment sims. Moreover, tags mention ‘responsive’ twice, and software sims are not that well suited for responsive projects.

What is the question?  Do you still need to decide about the authoring tool and the LMS?
