I am an agile coach and an executive leadership coach. I typically work with organizations who want to transform their culture, often involving many people, like my current client of 300,000 people. I'm hoping to learn to do eLearning well enough to scale myself.

Hi – In all captivate files, like the sample ones, I can only preview current slide. But when I click Preview-Project, or Preview-Next 5 slides, nothing happens.

I’m concerned and would appreciate suggestions.

Play slide is NOT a Preview method at all. It is confusing because it is under the Preview button, I know. It is only meant to be used for synchronizing because it allows to play the slide, stop the playhead and you’ll see the situation at that moment. However it doesn’t reproduce as it will be when published. The best Preview method is F11, Preview HTML in browser. I don’t think you still use SWF output.

Are you talking about responsive (Fluid Boxes) or non-responsive projects? If it is a non-responsive project, the methods you mention do use temporary SWF output, which means that the problem could be with not having Flash Player installed.
