Publishing Captivate in other languages for screen readers (JAWS)

I am making a project that will be published in 10 languages in addition to English. Each language will have its own file. The text and alt-text are translated into the correct language. For a person without disabilities, the project is fine.

However, the projects are intended to be accessible for people with disabilities who are non-English learners. I am testing the files with JAWS, the most popular screen reader. I see that under Preferences –> Project –> Publish Settings, I can select one of six languages (Deutsch, English, French, Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese). I am running into issues:

IF the file is published in English, then the screen reader will read the body text (that is in Polish, for example) as an English speaker. When I publish the file in French or Spanish, the screen reader reads the contents as Spanish or French.

Question: Can I publish projects in other languages (Polish, Russian, Arabic, Korean, and Chinese)?

Thanks!

If you figure out how to get Arabic Characters to work in Captivate, I’d love to know!  Please share!
