Captivate Assets – Corporate Network Enviroment
Had to setup a second account for work since logging in my account at work changes the license information for all Adobe Software.

Has anyone been able to get Adobe Captivate Assets to work in a corporate network work environment or while using a VPN?

Other than using a public internet connection, has anyone found a work around to get Captivate Assets to work?

I’m just a user myself, cannot help you out with access to the Assets panel. But if the eLearning assets are installed on your system you should be able to retrieve them manually. Did you try that?

Just installs thumbnails.

Assets seem to only work from public internet connections.
If you use a VPN, Firewall or are on a business network account the Assets tab will only display a blank container for any of the included assets from Adobe. Everything from ELB loads and downloads just fine.

For the Characters you have only thumbnails. But for the other assets.

I tried to explain some functionality in:

GREAT INFO!!
Hopefully Adobe will get the Assets working or provide a new installer package to IT so we can download them all other than thumbnails.

You’re welcome, have more blogs about the Assets. Really hope your problems can be solved.

No, that’s a known issue, but I know of no fix. SCORM Cloud Preview wouldn’t work for me neither when behind company firewalls by the way.

SCORM Cloud Preview works for me both at work, and behind my home VPN.
The only things that don’t work are the included assets from Adobe.
ELB works just fine as well.
