Dcache still available?

I’m using Captivate 2019, and am getting the “already open” file corruption error when moving my cptx files from one computer to another. I’m closing them properly on the master machine, but it still creates the temporary lock files and does not remove them, and as a result won’t open the cptx from a second machine, even if I delete the temp files or rename and move a duplicated cptx.

I know Dcache was sometimes solving this problem last year, but I didn’t have the issue until we upgraded to 2019, and the link here is dead. Does anyone know where to find it again?

Thanks, Lieve!

I’ll try off the work network, it didn’t look like suppression to me, but it totally could be. I’ll post again if I have success there.

Got it! Thanks, Lieve, and thanks Shaleen, who shared it with me.

You’re welcome. Shaleen used to be in the staff, wonder if that is still the case. Anyway thanks for the heads up.

Still have dcache installed and use it regularly, also with CP2019 files.

I checked the link and for me it is not dead. Maybe blocked by firewall or security? The name of the person who shared the link is unknown to me. Will try to find out and be back.

Ah, “the files have been removed or you don’t have access.” I assumed the files were removed, but I guess I don’t have access! Yikes – I need to start reading whole sentences again…
