I created a table of contents in Captivate and it showed when I previewed the video but when I published the video to Youtube the table of contents did not show. I checked all the settings I knew to check.  What do I need to do to have the table of contents display in a published video?

Indeed you have to publish to an interactive output, which will at this moment be HTML5 preferable. I wouldn’t recommend pdf, because it means that the Plash Player plugin is needed to play the interactive pdf.

Ok, thank you for responding.  So is the only way to see the TOC in a video is to publish as html5 or pdf file?  I published as one of those and the TOC did show.

“TOC in a video” Just to help you with terminology – a Captivate project is published as a project not a video. You can publish as an mp4 video file, but that is not the term given to an interactive Captivate project which is published for the web or an LMS.

TOC is part of the skin, and that skin is not included when you publish to mp4, which is passive video. Same as for CC.
