Captivate error on app build with PhoneGap

Hi,

I am testing Captivate 2019 to see if it handles my project… I just uploaded a drag and drop test as mobile app for Android, but I am getting the error:

Error – Some official plugins have to be updated if using PhoneGap >= 4.0.0. Please upgrade the version of any plugins that may include the following file: InAppBrowser.java – You can fix this here

When I click in the link, it goes to a page with more than 4K plugins… seaching for InAppBrowser and filtering for Android, I still get a list of 60+ plugins.. how do I know which one is the one I have to update?

I would appreciate with more detailed instructions on how to fix this issue.

/ Leticia

It seems like that it is not longer possible to create an ipa file with PhoneGap, since Adobe stopped the support to PhoneGap. So there should be an alternative within Captivate to export as an app to another service like Capacitor or even better directly create an ipa file when an apple developer account is available. And in this context it should be possible to define a start screen for the app.

I am getting the same error with any Captivate type of project. I don’t know how to solve it. Which plugin is supposed to be updated? and how?

I am getting the same error when attempting to build an interactive module with 360 slides. If you found a solution let us know!
