Drop Shadow disappears in middle of slide

I have a slide with voiceover and several images appearing at different times.  All images have the same slight drop shadow on them.  The Drop Shadow disappears upon the arrival of another image. Long time Captivate user, never seen this–all these images have the same drop shadow settings.  The one on the left HAD a dropshadown then it disappeared up the arrival of the second image

I’ve seen this issue before. Try this. If the first of the images appear at the beginning of the slide in question, add a small 1/10th of a second delay to its appearance. Also what seems to help is to add a fade-in effect (even a very short one) to the beginning of the object’s appearance in the Timing panel. It looks nice and seems to hold the drop shadow for longer.

Once you have your slide(s) working do yourself a favour and fill out the bug report here. Adobe is aware of this issue, but like all software companies, they only spend time on the features that people are having regular problems with. The more people who remind them of this bug, the more likely it’s going to get fixed.

The embedded image is very fuzzy, cannot detect anything on it.

Can you please tell which exact version you are using? You find the full number under Help, About Captivate. Can you post a screenshot only from the timeline panel as well?

I tried to reproduce the problem, but was not able to do so. My version is 11.5.1.499.
