Using random question slides for an assessment without sending a final score. Requirement is that assessment is considered to be completed successfully when at least a fixed number of questions are answered correctly. In that case a percentage of 100% should be transmitted to the LMS., if not it should be 0%.
A question related to the privacy laws in Europe appeared in the Adobe forums. You can have a look at the original question in this thread. Part of the thread is in Dutch, mother tongue of the OP and of myself.
User is using random question slides. This excludes the use of Knowledge Check slides (and Pretest slides) since they cannot be created from a question pool. However the goal of the assessment is to test if the learner can answer a required amount of questions correctly, without sending the score to the LMS. If he/she succeeds, a score of 100% should be given, if not a score of 0%.
I already have published a lot about quizzes, and also about the limitations and possibilities of random question slides. My ‘Captivate intuition’ told me that is would be possible, and not that complicated neither. To be sure I created a sample project which you’ll be able to test here. To spare time I did use some slides from the Quick Start Project ‘Alliances’, although needed a lot of tweaking.
Here is the sample project. Beware: the quiz itself is in Dutch, but do not be afraid. The terminology is in English, since a Dutch version of Captivate is not available.

In a blog I will explain step-by-step the setup of this workflow, in English.
