Can you give some more details? On a static slide there are several options, even with Captivate features – but if you also have included Full Motion Recording slides, or are talking of a Video Demo you’ll need to have another answer. Please always mention the version you are using (as indicated under Help, About Captivate) and the OS?

I usually use Snagit Editor – filter “Blur”.
