Sending Completion Data from a SCORM file to an LMS without a quiz

We recently implemented a new LMS that has excellent quiz-building capability. I have an eLearning course that I built in Captivate with a quiz. I have since removed the quiz from the SCORM file and rebuilt it directly in the LMS. I still want to use the SCORM file as the Lecture the user must take before beginning the quiz.

How do I get the SCORM file to send completion data to the LMS when there is no quiz in the SCORM file? The way I have it set up now, when the user reaches the final slide of the SCORM lecture, they can close the window but the LMS does not register that step as complete.

No answer to my comment yet.  When I was in university college, I did use the quiz features of our Blackboard LMS before finding Captivate. Probably your LMS has better quiz features, but once you have some mastery of Captivate’s possibilities, not only for default quiz slides, but also by creating custom quiz slides using the availability to attach scores to any interactive object.  Extension by using a widget like CpExtra or using JavaScript even gets you to a higher level.

Have a closer look at the Reporting dialog box. You can have completion criteria which are based on the number of slides viewed. Another workaround, which can be a better choice for some LMSs is to add one scored button at the slide from which the learner exits the course, which needs to be pressed (can be the Exit button). You can then still require to have a 100% score. All depends on the LMS. Bit curious, have never seen a LMS with the same possible features for quizzing (all included) as Captivate. Can you score games, drag&drop, etc?
