Captivate crashing when launching

When I launch Captivate I get the error “An error has occurred during activation.” I’m on a Mac OS 10.14.6, have been using Captivate 2019 since it came out. Just started having this problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Captivate. Still having this problem.

Hello, I am having the same problem but not on a Mac – I am using Windows 10. Software was ok one day and then the next day it launches but when I try to open a project or even a new project it carshes.

Anyone else had this problem?

Try Cleaning the Preferences: find the subfolder ‘utils’ under the installation folder. Close Captivate, then run CleanPreferencesWin. When restarting CP a fresh copy of the default Preferences will be installed.

Which exact version number do you use? There was patch only for Mac.
