Hi,

When I preview my project the font size is much smaller than what I have it set as when editing. it is only doing it on 2 of the slides. I closed the program several times. I changed the font size back and fourth and saved. I haven’t deleted and re-created the slide, but that is my next step. Then Adobe support.

Any suggestions on how to solve this?

Thanks for the reply Lieve. I don’t know exactly where my issue lies (I suspect fluid boxes), but I have overcome it. I created the material with the issue in a responsive project, but I didn’t pay any attention to the requirements for a responsive. I created a new non-responsive project and copied my material to it. now the non-responsive displays as I intend it to with the correct font size. It just can’t be delivered across multiple devices, which is fine for my current purpose.

I am fairly new to authoring E-learning. I’m learning new skills all the time. that being said, there is a ton of stuff I don’t know yet. In the future when I ask for advice I will include more information.

Fluid Boxes design is not as easy as marketing people claim (which is normal for them). You lose a lot of control, but it saves time when you need a project to adapt to smaller screens. The other workflow, Breakpoints, needs more developing time.

You can watch a non-responsive projects on all screens, just publish them with the option ‘Scalable’ checked in the Publishing dialog box. Of course there are limitations: layout will be always landscape and not change for smaller screens.

Lot of information is lacking to be able to give you an answer, reason why you didn’t get any.

First of all: are you talking about a responsive project with Fluid Boxes or about a non-responsive project? Which version are you using on which OS?

Which font do you use. I see no inserted variable, which means it is not a dynamic text container.

You talk about Preview, but didn’t mention which Preview method. If this is a non-responsive project and your goal is HTML output, the only preview which is close to the final output is with F11, Preview HTML in Browser.
