Adobe has added a number of new ways of selecting content from images. These selections will not only make your images look better for your eLearning courses, but they make is simple. These new techniques will save you a lot of time if you know how to use them.
In this video, you’ll see three different ways to quickly make selections and add some neat effects. The second example shows how to add a shallow Depth of Field (blurred background) so the learner will focus on the subject more. Learning these new selection tips will speed up your image editing and help you create some new clean images.
You may ignore that I have been teaching Photoshop for two decades. I used Captivate to offer interactive training simulations for PS (and other software applications). First part of my courses was always about selections.
BTW, reminded me I need to blog about using Illustrator to create SVGs. I find myself using AI a lot more than PS at this moment, especially for projects which can be viewed on mobile devices.
