Adobe Captivate 2019 generates .stp files w/ bad file name

Hello from Chicago!

When I preview a project, any project, Captivate generates files titled ” Audio_xxxxx.stp” . These files are stored in the project Cache.

The issue is that ALL these .stp files include a blank space preceding the word “Audio” thus rendering the file name invalid.

This invalid file name is causing havoc with  my company’s OneDrive and stops OneDrive from syncing until I manually delete these .stp files from the project cache. Some projects generate well over 100 of these invalid files.

Anyone else experience something like this?

Any ideas?

Thanks everyone!

Serko

i have the same issue, i’ll try to make the cache file not go to OneDrive and see if that resolves the issue.

I create a different folder for my cache called CpCache and I make sure it’s not in the path for OneDrive. This way all this junk isn’t synced up to the cloud. Once you create the folder you can select it in your Captivate preferences.
