My Captivate files have been timing out when saving, this could be a network connection issue, the issue is when I go attempt to open the file again, it states it is already open and I have to get IT to open it back up. Anyone else having this issue and is there a way to recover?

Make sure you are not saving to a shared drive. Best practise to download your files and edit them locally. Once you are finished with a file save it locally and then upload it to the shared drive. With network connections being slower than access to your local drives you can run into this problem in a corporate environment.

Can you have a look in the folder where the file should have been saved? Do you see any files with the extension ‘lck’ (locked)? If yes, delete them.
