Hello,

I am a fresh new baby in the world of Captivate and I’m really enjoying the challenge.  To help myself learn the program, I am creating a sort of e-learning resume.

While I was creating, I discovered that I can insert the text froma previous slides text entry into another slide as a text caption.

Now what I want to do is place the answers (given by the participant) from a drag and drop activity onto another slide just like I can the by inserting a variable into a text caption.  I want the participant to be able to review their own reflective thinking of my resume from each interactive slide at the end of the presentation.  (See images below).

In my drag and drop activity, I have created a ranking exercise.  There are 5 options to rank as the #1, #2,  and #3 experiences.  What I want to do, is have their 3 chosen answers on the slide which shows the text entry coding.

Help in super simple baby basic terms is needed; I have obvious Captive and programming learning gaps…

Thank you!!

In your drop targets you can set an action for each drag and drop. You should be able to set your advanced action for each pairing of objects. Here is an example, that isn’t exactly what you are doing but it involves the same section of the actions window for drag and drops. This might help you in understanding how that works. https://youtu.be/kVrm_Wq1s3I
