This was one of the BEST training sessions of the eLearning World conference!  I really enjoyed the fact that she went through actual examples of how to create interactive content for your videos!!  A lot of the other sessions informed users on how and when to use Captivate for their videos. (Which is helpful for those who are new to the product.) However, for those of us who have used different versions of Captivate, currently operate Adobe 2019, and/or need to learn the advanced features to begin using in our videos like “right now”‘, her session was super beneficial!!

How do you get the slide to advance once all the buttons “show”? (the hiking equipment slide).

In the published project (or when you just preview it) there is a navigation bar at the bottom with a button that allows you to click and move forward. It’s one of the pre built navigation bars available in Captivate.

I am very disappointed that the instructor audio was so low for this training.  The topic interests me very much.  I attempted the live session and the watch now session.  The intro music on the watch now session was a normal volume, the instructor sounded as though she were speaking in a whisper.  The same was true in the live session on June 25th.  I was able to hear the Adobe staff member perfectly but the mic of the instructor was either too far from her mouth (see watch now video) or she was speaking in a whisper tone.   I will attempt the session later today to see if it was my computer or internet connection but I had volume set in the Adobe Connect app on 100% and on my webcast camera’s speaker also.
