If I open the Find and Replace requester (Ctrl+F), have All Object Types selected and All Styles, when I enter a slide name it will not locate it.

The documentation states:

“You can check spelling in most places where text occurs in your projects, including captions, slide notes, slide names, text animations, and quizzes.

Am I missing something?

Labeling slides is not only for the TOC, I always label them because those labels make any action, whether it is simple/advanced or shared much more ‘readable’ and human. When you move a slide in the Filmstrip, the slide number will change but the label will remain the same.

I felt compelled  to add ths supplementary information. Since more than 12 years I have been defending the necessity to label objects and slides for many reasons.

You can only name your slides for TOC. This part is not searchable.

Find and Replace is indeed a text feature, same as in text editors, meant to correct mistakes or replace terms. It is not meant to Find ano object nor a slide at all. Can you explain why you need to search for a slide? Maybe I can offer a valid workflow?
