Add CC text and associate it with an event?

I have a screen of content that contains audio and CC. Works great. But – I have two additional objects that when selected play separate audio files. I need those with Closed Caption as well. Is there a way to add closed caption to the audio attached to an object/event on the screen? Example:

1. Screen loads, audio begins, closed caption reflects the audio.

2. Learner selects one of two objects. Each object plays a separate audio file – but I can’t use closed captions in the same location as the main CC text block

This is tough, not sure you can do this but I would love to be proven wrong!

Closed captioning needs full synchronization with the Timeline of the slide. That is only the case for slide audio, not for Object audio. For that reason CC is not available for Object audio, nor for audio starting with the command ‘Play Audio’.  Make sure the text needed is available in the object.
