Hi Guys,

I have a set of effects applied to individual text captions.  The slide performs as expected when previewing using the “play button” in the timeline; however, when previewing using the HTML in Browser option, the first text captions (with the applied effect) appears, but the second and third captions does not.  I’ve checked my timeline, and I don’t have a pause, and I don’t see what I’m doing wrong.

I appreciate your assistance.

Were you able to get this resolved based on Lieve and Tiffany’s advice?

I do not see the Effect timelines, but the timeline has pausing point from several interactive objects at 1.5secs.

If there is one blog you really need to read about the Timeline (have a lot of them), it is this one:

Hi Lieve,

Yes – I’m okay now.   I corrected the pause points in the timeline.  You’re article was beneficiary.  Thanks again.

Thanks for taking the time to tell that the problem is solved.  Since many years I consider lack of understanding the Timeline one of the main stumbling blocks for Captivate users (not only newbies) but not everyone agrees. Complete series of my blogs about Timeline can be found in a free pdf from this post:
