E-learning is nothing but learning electronically. From the tradition of paper and pen to this technology-based era many education systems are there for the students, teachers and working professionals. But, in this computer era E-learning is very helpful to understand the complex things easily.
What is Adobe Captivate and relation to E-learning?
Adobe captivate is the software produced by the techie “Adobe” and provides a solution for the e-learning platform.
By this captivate you can simulate the videos, and convert the presentations to video file and make more advanced learning methods.
Captivate is a great tool to record simulation videos. These are necessary for the professionals and also software used trainees.
This is a rather limited description of Adobe Captivate. I did find the application over a decade ago because I was looking for a way to have students (university college) more engaged and the training more personalized. Totally different from your description/ Due to Captivate I was able to go with Flipped Classes, problem-based methods, project based learning including peer teaching. Much more than just a transition from pen and paper to electronics. I started using it blended learning, but now switched completely to online training. Mostly for Adobe Captivate and other Adobe applications.
The most important word I don’t see in your text is ‘interactivity’, which is what Captivate excels in.
