Failed Quizzes Won’t Reset in my LMS

Hello!

I use an LMS called BAI, and I upload custom quizzes and exams. When users pass the course, it works fine, but if they should fail, the courses are not resetting, and leaving the previous answers selected. I’ve had to manually reset each course. Any suggestions?

Another thing is check-in quiz reporting under the advance option if you have “Never Send Resume Data” checked. Checking this box will allow a user to log in and retry the quiz as it won’t remember the last data entered and allows a fresh start.

All depends on the setup of Reporting, and of the level of SCORM compliance of that LMS (which I do not know).

To check the latter: upload the course to SCORM Cloud (standard for SCORM) and see if it works correctly. If yes, the problem is with the LMS.

You need multiple attempts on Quiz level, is that the case? Bookmarking should be left intact, but that is the default setting. Which means you didn’t edit anything in the Advanced setting, like to check ‘Never send resume data’.

You talk about ‘custom’ quizzes? Do you mean those were made from scored standard objects, not by using the default type of Questions (with their dedicated master slides) or Drag&Drop set up as scored? Those default quiz slides will reset when a new attempt on Quiz level is started, which normally happens by clicking the Retake button on the score slide.  Do you have the score slide? Did you have at least one slide after the Score slide, in order to have time for the Quiz Preferences, Pass/Fail actions?
