Grouped objects with entrance animation look blurry

Hi, I have several slides where  I grouped text, images and box objects together and then have them all ease in from the left on entrance. Unfortunately when viewing a preview in HTML5 in browser, they look blurry. All of the slides look good.

Anyone have a solution to this?

Hi,

I figured it out (or at least solved the problem)! My effect duration was 2 seconds but my next button was set to pause at 1.5 seconds so I think this was not allowing the effect to totally finish and so it looked blurry. I changed the effect duration to 1.5 seconds and it is now working! Not sure if it was something else but thought I would still shared the answers to your questions in case there is something else I should know….

  1. Which exact version number do you use as found under Help, About Captivate?
    1. 11.5.1.499
  2. Are you talking about a responsive or a non-responsive project?
    1. Non-responsive
  3. Which browser(s) did you use for Preview HTML in Browser?
    1. Normally Chrome
  4. Did you test after publishing?
    1. Yes. It has been tested in Chrome and Edge
  5. Can you insert some screenshots?
    1. I have attached a screenshot of the clear slide in the project and then blurry slide during preview / publish
  6. How did you set up the Entrance effect with which parameters for duration, easing etc?
    1. Appear after 0 seconds
    2. Ease In Right
    3. Effect Start: 0 sec
    4. Effect Duration: 2 sec
    5. No Transition
  7. What do you mean by ‘box’, because that is a term which is not in the Captivate terminology: a Text Entry Box maybe?
    1. I had a square shape, text caption box and picture

FYI: the most recent version for Windows is 11.5.5.553. You can upgrade using Help, Upgrade.

There is no attachment available in your comment.

That was a confusing question because there was no mention of the type of entrance effect, and it looked like the grouping was a cause of blurriness. But it was a motion effect which was paused by a pausing point of an interactive object.  That is one of the most common causes of problems linked to the Timeline. It may be good to read at least this blog, one of the many articles I wrote about understanding the Timeline:
