Hello,

My designer is overwhelmed and thus I need to figure out how to replace an existing video in my adobe captivate  course with a new revised video.  Any step by steps on how to do this would be appreciated?

Thank you.

Why are people never check to see if an answer has been posted. This is so sad and frustrating for me, trying to offer solutions.

I’ve seen you say similar comments elsewhere as well. How do you know if they haven’t viewed your suggestion, or perhaps they merely haven’t had time to check back for any responses? You only posted your comment 1 day ago.

A very important detail is missing in your question. Is the old video inserted as Event video or as Slide Video.

For event video a quick replacement is possible. Import the new video to the Library (preferably with another name or at least a version number added). Select the video on the slide and look in the Properties panel, Style tab. You’ll see its file name, click the Browse icon and choose the new video from the Library. Done (if they have same physical size and need same location).

Hello, when I try to do this, even if dimensions are locked on the video, the video doesn’t maintain the size of the previous video on the stage. Any solutions to that issue? Thank you
