Hello,

I have been using Adobe programmes on my Macbook for a long a time and I am accustomed to using my trackpad to zoom in and out however this does not work in Captivate.

Is there an option to switch this on or can I only use the menu? I noticed cmnd + and – doesn´t work either.

thanks.

Because you didn’t get any answer yet, will give it a try although I am a Windows user as you may know. But Mac users, ready to help other Mac users, are rare here.

Cmnd (CTRL) normally should be possible both with + and -, and with 0 (Best fit), 1(100%), and some more. Those work even on my non US keyboard.

Since you lost them, if I understand you correctly, I would try to Clean the Preferences. You need administrator rights.

Close Captivate. Find the subfolder ‘utils’ under the installation folder. Run the file ‘CleanPreferencesMac’. Restart Captivate, and  new default preferences will be created. Maybe that will restore your shortcut keys for zooming.

You may lose some minor customization, like switch to Expert UI, custom workspaces etc. If you are in the Newbie UI that will not be problem.
