I created a captivate project with text to speech and closed caption. The first slide works perfectly and all slides that I duplicated from the first slide works perfectly, but all other slides are not working after publishing.  Any ideas?

Please, can you explain what is not functional? It seems strange that you would duplicate slides with TTS and CC? Which exact version of Captivate are you using? The full version number can be found under Help, About Captivate. Did you use Slide Notes to start with TTS and later on with CC? What is going awry: the design or synchronization of the CC with the audio? Or are the problems with the generated TTS?

I am using 11.5.5.676.  I am using slide notes, then selecting a voice and generating the text to speech from slide notes, then I am using that for closed caption.  I used this process for all slides.

Slide 1 – works great.

Slide 2 to 6 – there is no voice or closed captioning at all after publishing.

Slide 7 – duplicated slide 1, then deleted the slides notes, added new slide notes, generated voice and closed captioning again.  Works great.

Slide 8 yo 12 – there is no voice or closed captioning at all after publishing.

Etc…  any slide that I duplicate from slide 1 has voice and closed captioning.  Any other slide is not working.

I am sorry, but since I am a Win user and you are on Mac, it is very difficult to help you for several reasons. Crossing my fingers that a Mac user will be helping you out.
