Hi there I get the following response when i try and upload a zip file as suggested. (HTML5 – .zip)

Unexpected response from the server.

The file may have been uploaded successfully. Check in the Media Library or reload the page.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Andy

I am not sure how you published the project exactly. Two possible errors which I am aware of, can prevent upload of the published folder

  • You published a SCO, which is a project where Quiz Reporting has been set up. You cannot upload a SCO because the used server is not a LMS which is needed for upload of SCOs.
  • You have manually zipped the folder. It is compulsory that you publish with the zip feature activated in the Publish dialog.

I hope you tried a couple of times, because a simple temporary glitch could also have happened.

Hi Lieve, thank you for your response.

In the first instance I had zipped the file myself.

I then tried publishing it to a zip file , which again did not work.

Then i revisited an hour or so later and published it to a blog, which did work.

I am guessing it may have been a temporary glitch.

Thanks again 🙂

Andy

You’re welcome. It has happened to me as well (glitch), reason why I mentioned it. But it is really important to have Captivate zipping the folder.
