If we use Captivate to create an online training course, how easy is it to embed the slides into LearnDash?  No SCROM required, correct?  Don’t need Captivate Prime, correct?

If you want reporting turned on,, you need a LMS.  LearnDash seems to promote itself as a LMS, but also has its own tools for eLearning. If it is SCORM compliant (couldn’t find it) you should be able to create a SCO (reporting turned on) from Captivate and upload that. Just check with a short project, or ask them at LearnDash (it is not free). I have read that you don’t need SCORM but why do you pay for a LMS in that case? It is possible that they also support packages (Blackboard does) without reporting, but that is not guaranteed for all LMSs.

As for Captivate Prime: it is another LMS with lot of features, you can see it as a concurrent for LearnDash (if it is indeed a LMS). You don’t need Prime to make a Captivate course available, any webserver (without reporting nor access management) or LMS will do.
