Hello, I’m using the most current version of Adobe Captivate 2019 on a Windows 1o system. I have background audio playing for my eLearning project and I would like to have the option for the learner to mute the background audio if they wish. Is it possible in Captivate to mute the background audio and if so how do I accomplish it?

What I have done in the past is to tell people watching the presentation, they can turn off the sound by selecting the sound icon on the toolbar. The tool bar -1, shows the normal position of the sound button and tool bar – 2 shows the sound icon in the off position.

Only the background audio? That is impossible. As developer you can mute background audio on individual slides. The learner can only mute all audio with one button (playbar).  Do you have combination of background audio (not considered to help learning) and other audio types: slide audio, object audio, audio triggered by ‘Play Audio’?
