Hello, so I’m using Captivate’s recent version which is 11.5.5.553 with Windows 10 Pro. I have a question that is focused on the Table of Contents(TOC). I would like to know is there a way to prevent a learner from skipping a section, and selecting, or jumping to another section, or module in a course? I know I can turn off navigation for the TOC, but I would prefer they can move around freely with the particular section or module, and I want everything to be shown except the Quiz which is how it is configured currently. Currently, they can navigate to other sections, and modules, bypassing all knowledge checks, which is not good. I do not want the learner to advance to another section or module until they have completed each one in sequence, and I definitely do not want them to bypass the knowledge checks. I know I can check for such actions using advanced actions, and this may be the route I take however I like to know what do other developers do for such a situation?

If I understand your question correctly, I would check the option ‘Navigate visited slides only’ in the TOC setup. If custom navigation is set up correctly, the first time all slides will need to be visited in sequence, but later on the the learner can choose which chapter/slides to visit another time.
