Black Screens in Captivate 360 Projects

I am using Captivate 2019, and in all 360 V/R Projects, they render perfectly in Preview mode, but when I publish them, whether it’s to a server, an LMS, or if I run the published file from my desktop, I get black screens, with some text visible. The links also work, if you can find them on the black background, but I need this resolved. Does anyone have a fix for this? Thanks

Has a solution been identified for the black screen for published 360 videos?

I am experiencing similar problem. That is, we see 360 videos during preview mode but not when published. All interactions appear but no video. Is there a setting to check or another solution?

Hi Lieve – thanks for your response. I previewed  in Chrome, and it rendered perfectly, on my desktop. Beyond that, all slides were black, except with visible text boxes, on a web server, and on an LMS.

You viewed them on the LMS with your system (which has WebGL enabled, since you could Preview HTML in Browser)? Or did you check from another system?

Our LMS uses Explorer or Chrome, and both browsers render all black screens. We have no issues viewing other content created in Captivate via that LMS. Also, we have a separate web server, and that has the same issues, only with Captivate 360 projects. When I open the published project on my desktop, everything shows black. However, when I preview the project from Captivate, it renders perfectly in Chrome.

Did the Preview HTML in Browser work? Which browser did you use on which device?
