A series of bite-sized, interactive and design led modules developed by Onclick around how to challenge sexism in schools to support UK Feminista’s work in helping students and teachers to promote gender equality in the classroom by offering practical tools, implementing school initiatives and running campaigns to drive change.
Sexism is an issue for every school in every community. Sexual harassment, sexist language and gender stereotyping are commonplace in school settings, yet teachers report feeling unsupported and ill-equipped to respond.
Onclick developed a series of bite-sized, interactive and design led modules around how to challenge sexism in schools to support UK Feminista’s work in helping students and teachers to promote gender equality in the classroom by offering practical tools, implementing school initiatives and running campaigns to drive change.
We utilized the Adobe Creative Suite to create bespoke assets, such as the animations, and to cut and edit videos. Using interactive learning tools like match up quizzes, bright and vivid branding colours, as well as first hand narrative videos really underpins the messaging behind the modules.
Very well designed. I have a question: Is this a complimentary resource? Because, it seems like the learners should be familiar with the stats and number. If this is a stand alone resource, then I will suggest to refrain from asking the learnerers to sort the stats as they might get discouraged to continue the module. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful project.
