Is your Adobe 2019 glitchy with iOS 11 Big Sur?

I’m a big fan of Adobe products for 15 years. They’ve been reliable and beating all competition.

Captivate 2019 doesn’t deliver the same promise. Other than its poor look, the program keeps shutting down on a simple click on a text box. If it doesn’t shut down, the whole slide will disappear from view.

I just installed it on my Macbook Pro 2017 running with Big Sur. Captivate is up to date, but I cannot find a way to fix the instability. Any ideas?

I haven’t updated my macOS yet but I believe the update to captivate is fairly new. Some others have posted about issues with the new OS. I tend to be a late adopter myself and given the issues I have read about lately I have stayed away.
Not helpful to you but make sure you have the latest and greatest of everything as it is supposed to work from what I understand. Maybe someone from Adobe will respond with some tips.

There was a patch released early 2021, but the one I pointed to was in February. Is that ‘fairly new’? Depends on the context.  Breaking existing applications often happens when Apple releases a new version, not only with Captivate.

Are you use you have the updated version which is compatible with Big Sur. As usual is the case, each new iOS breaks lot of applications. The team has provided a new version of 11.5 for Mac users. Have a look at:
