Hi!
As far as I am concerned, the project you created in captivate windows version could be uploaded to captivate in mac however, it is said that some stuff such as fonts etc. might be changing. My problem is that when I opened my windows created project in macbook I can only see a black screen in the main page of the software. On the left slide bar, everything is OK. However when I attempt to edit my slides I cannot see anything in the middle. How can we solve this problem?

Thx.

I’m seeing the same issue on an older MacBook that’s not on Big Sur.  The middle of the window is black.  If you search on the internet for the problem, you’ll see that people were having this in 2020 also, and there was a patch to the software that fixed it.

Hi Debby, can you check if the Big Sur build works in your case? Take a look at this post: Update for Mac Users – Adobe Captivate 2019 Build for macOS Big Sur (macOS 11) is here! – eLearning

I suspect that the Macbook updated to Big Sur but the version developed for that OS has not been installed. Have a look at this post:

Hi Nazmi

I do not experience this problem.

With my team, we collaborate on a lot of projects, and I’m the only one using a Mac. We switch back and forth between the two OSs all the time.

Have you tried pressing cmd+0 (zero)? This will fit the project into the space between the timeline and the properties panel. Cmd+1 and cmd+2 will zoom. I used to be able to zoom all the way to cmd+5, but that is not working in the current version of the software.
