First of all I’ll have to say that English is not my native language.

I wanted to share with you my testimonial about how captivate inspire me to use it in my thesis activities. I had to create some assets for Moodle, so I think that I could use captivate.

Mastery learning is an instructional strategy created by Benjamin Bloom, it means that a user cannot go to the next topic if he can’t demonstrate that he master the last one. That prevents that the learner continue without the list of knowledge he needs to know.

I did it like this.

1.- Create an SCORM package in adobe captivate, so at the end Moodle will know he finished.
2.- Create an SCORM activity in Moodle and I upload the Scorm created with Adobe Captivate.

3.- Then, add the assignment you want to reveal only if he passed the captivate SCORM.
4.- In that activity go to “restrict access”

5.- Depending how you created your adobe captivate SCORM you can choose, “must be marked completed” it means he only need to complete the SCORM, or “must be completed with a pass or fail grade” it means you can put a quiz result in the SCORM and conditionate that grade.
